Day 1
Hey All,
Today I touched down in NYC. My flight was a little bumpy with a pretty rough landing, but i'm in New York safe and sound. I took a lyft to my student apartment and it's a pretty cool space. I haven't seen or heard from my roommates quite yet. I think some are NYU students away for the holiday and I think the other might be checking in later this week. I walked around the city and I think it's going to take a couple of days to get acclimated to the city again, becuase I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with the fast paced city life. I'm def feeling more homesick than I thoguht, which is weird, becuase I haven't even been here a full a day, but I think once I start my internship next week and my improv class on Sunday that feeling on missing home shall pass soon. Orientation for my building is about to begin, so i'm going to make this a short, but I will update all of you on how things are going. In the meantime here is a photo of the court yard at my new place.
